Non-Profit Leadership
For more than 25 years, I have been involved in the non-profit arts world of the Twin Cities—as an artist, consultant, board member, and organizational leader.
I earned a B.A. at St. Olaf College, and M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota. Beyond the specific fields of study, these experiences taught me the research, analysis, planning and evaluation skills that I have used throughout my career.
For each new problem or circumstance that arises, I am able to analyze from many angles, learn what skills are necessary to address the issue, and quickly implement solutions that address not just the first layer of the problem, but work to solve it top to bottom.
I was the administrative leader of SteppingStone Theatre for Youth Development for 12 years during its period of greatest growth and transformation, and have chosen this time to pursue new challenges, including consulting on your project.
Ross managed SteppingStone Theatre staff and budgets through times of extensive change and growth.
Through it all, he is focused and calm and always on top of what needs to be accomplished.
— Leah Harvey, fmr Board President, SteppingStone Theatre
